Antique Chinese Export Silver Walking Stick / Cane Handle, Canton

This beautiful antique Chinese silver walking stick handle is a fine representation of Chinese export silver circa late 19th century to early 20th century. Makers marks for Fu, possibly Fu Ji and MH; little could be found for this silversmith except that he was possibly based in Canton. An elegant piece with beautifully worked bamboo motifs, which represent longevity. Such pieces were often worked in .900 silver.

Measurements: 10cm approx length, 5 cm handle height. Approx 2 cm handle grip diameter. Total weight of 30.8g.
