Beautiful antique Chinese export silver gentleman’s flask with marks for Zee Sung, a Shanghai retail silversmith active from 1900-1940; maker’s mark for 合興 (He Xing).

Zee Sung is noted for many of its pieces boasting a mastery of finely planished silver, with this flask being an excellent example. The central cartouche has been left blank and this would make an excellent present for any connoisseur of Chinese silver or luxury barware.
