Antique Art Deco Teal Blue Guilloche enamel & Gilt on Sterling SIlver Travel Toiletry Set. Lavender Crystals, Perfume Bottle and Loose Powder Puff Compact
An exquisite antique vanity set comprising a miniature scent bottle, a bottle of bath salts (“Lavender Crystals”), and a loose powder puff compact. Elegant hand cut glass bottles with guilloche enamel and gilt on sterling silver lids, as well as a guilloche enamel and gilt on sterling silver miniature compact. Maker’s marks rubbed but assay marks for Birmingham, 1923 legible on all 3 items.
It is clear that other than polishing, this set has been lovingly treasured and kept over the years. With its original paper labels and cut glass stoppers all intact, this is a beautiful and charming piece.
Another highly similar set of lavender crystals and perfume bottles circa 1925 bore marks for Walker & Hall and was priced at £400.

Cased Measurements: 13 by 8.5 cm. Bottles approx 6.2cm length. Compact diameter 4cm.
Excellent antique condition. Cut glass stoppers in both bottles and intact. Original paper labels. Bath crystals present but scent bottle is empty. Minor area of wear to guilloche enamelling on rim of compact. Otherwise guilloche enamelling is in good condition.
