An elegant antique American sterling silver set of 12 cups, with the early stylised hammer mark and initials of Julius Olaf Randahl, the numbers 7 12, as well as a stamped mark for sterling silver.

Julius Olaf Randahl, a Swedish silversmith who worked at The Kalo Shop making fine Arts and Crafts silver, later had his own storefront until 1965. He was an important figure in the Chicago Arts and Crafts movement, and these cups are an elegant nod to the practicalities of fine dining. These would be lovely for liqueur, schnapps or mint juleps.

Each cup is monogrammed “GPM” to the front.

Price marked at $3600 AUD for the set.

Measurements: Height of 8.5cm. Each cup is approx 60grams, for a total weight of approximately 720 grams.

Very good antique condition overall; several cups have minor dings commensurate with use and age.
