A lovely quintessentially American Art Deco Times Square Theatre playbill circa 1929, capturing the spirit of the Roaring Twenties just before it all came crashing down. Jed Harris, a highly successful Broadway producer, was manager at the time. The advertisements, “Harlemisms” and other fancies of the time are captured in this playbill to charming, at times comic, effect. We’ll let the pages do the talking!
