Silver Russian Pre-Revolution Ladies Purse.

Rare and exquisite 84 silver purity Russian pre-revolution ladies purse, as found. This purse is a beautiful and timeless piece, with a sleek geometric silhouette and beautifully inscribed Art Nouveau motifs. It can be attached to a lady’s chatelaine belt or simply carried by hand as is. The central motif is decorated with a  blue stone which has not been tested. Possibly a synthetic stone or spinel. Imagine all the glittering parties and splendour this purse must have seen- a memento of the bygone Romanov era.

Clasp does not fully close however still displays very well. Leather is still in very good antique condition.
