18th Century Georgian / Regency Period Tea Bowl circa 1770-1830
18th Century Georgian / Regency Period Tea Bowl circa 1770-1830
Late 18th century Georgian / Regency Period Tea Bowl circa 1770-1830. In the earliest days of British manufacture, porcelain manufacturers were not always marked. Nevertheless their style and the type of porcelain used (typical British soft-paste porcelain) dates these to the late 18th century, making these rare and desirable pieces. Possibly New Hall or Caughley, they are well-decorated with floral motifs and leaf motifs.
Price: AUD$150 per tea bowl, 2 available.
Measurements: 8cm bowl dia., 5.5cm bowl height.
Gilt loss, some wear to rim and base. Some speckling to porcelain ground. Overall very good condition for 18th century porcelain.
