Vintage Dinky A40 Austin toy car, model number 40D/152

This vintage Dinky toy car is the A40 Austin, model number 40D/152. Coming in a rare blue colour way, this model is circa 1940s-1950s. This particular model is extremely rare and collectable, with some listed online for upwards of 600 AUD.

Dinky toy cars were made in England during this period by the Meccano Company at a factory in Liverpool. While Dinky sadly no longer operates, they remain a fondly cherished memory for many.  A fine toy car full of childhood nostalgia, this would appeal to any toy car collector, particularly Dinky aficionados.
