Beautiful vintage African Ashanti timber fertility doll circa first half of the 20th century, mounted on newer stand. Beautiful aged patina to the statue.

This would have been made in or around Ghana, West Africa, and would originally be given to an expectant mother in hopes of a smoothy pregnancy and childbirth.
