Midcentury Mexican sterling silver bowl by Sanborns

Beautiful midcentury Mexican sterling silver bowl by noted silver retailer and maker Sanborns. Founded in 1903, it continues to operate today under the name Grupo Sanborns.

This piece is an excellent example of Mexican silver, beautifully lobed with engraved Mexican motifs such as a donkey, wild goose and flowers.

Measurements: 210.6 grams. 7cm high, 12.1cm diameter.

Maker’s mark well-rubbed, otherwise excellent vintage condition.
