Large Art Nouveau Daum cameo glass bottle with .950 silver mount, circa 1900s

A beautiful Art Nouveau Daum cameo glass bottle with .950 silver mount, circa 1895 to 1905. Daum, which was based in Nancy, France, needs little to no introduction as one of the most prominent glassworks of the Art Nouveau period.

Beautiful repousse work and heavily moulded cameo glass layers of floral motifs, done in naturalistic style typical of the Art Nouveau period, likely of columbine flowers, also known as Aquilegia.

With French assay marks and Minerva mark of the first standard indicating .950 silver purity.

Measurements: 12.2cm high. 6cm base diameter.

Condition: Etched signature to base crisp and clear. Loss of gilt to exterior. Minor chip to base, stopper in excellent condition. Otherwise very good to excellent antique condition.
