Beautiful George II sterling silver creamer jug, with marks for London, 1742, John Pollock. Exceptional details including a gilt-washed bowl, repousse motifs and pad feet. John Pollock was an exceptional silversmith specialising in smaller items of holloware, especially cast milk jugs. A very rare and desirable piece.
Price marked at $2000 AUD. Measurements: 7cm height from feet to top of handle. 12cm across from tip to handle. 95grams. Excellent antique condition, minimal wear overall commensurate with age. Marks rubbed but legible.
