Beautiful antique Russian silver egg cup with gilt-washed interior, with assay marks for .875 silver purity i.e. 84 zolotniki as well as maker’s mark. This particular kokoshnik mark based upon research we believe to be circa 1908, which dates this to the final years of Russia’s last Tsar Nicholas II.
The craftsmanship is lovely, with a tripod faux bois design to the base and delicate engraving to the front. A lovely collectible piece of Russian imperial silver.
