An elegant George V sterling silver and cut glass trinket box, with marks for Chester, 1911, Samuel M Levi. Levi was active from 1900 to 1913, and his premises were on Frederick & Vyse Street, Birmingham.
The Chester assay office closed in 1962, making assayed pieces from this office increasingly collectible.
Beautifully made with repousse Art Nouveau floral motifs.
