Exceptional early 19th century cameo pendant carved in archaistic Roman style, circa 1800 to 1820s. Carved agate with a front-facing cameo in high profile, with original setting sympathetically done. Unmarked but setting likely gilt on silver. A rare piece and ideal for cameo collectors looking for something truly special.
