A beautiful antiquarian volume, this 1900 edition of Arthur Dixon’s The Water-Babies (1863) was one of the most popular works of the Victorian period. Published by Ernest Nister, this edition boasts beautiful Art Nouveau illustrations, boasting six colour plates and seventy half-tone illustrations. With richly gilded edges and tooled gilt letters to the spine, this would have been pride of place in any nursery or child’s bedroom.
