1930s New Zealand sterling silver Te Kewau Ladies' Basketball pin

A charming and rare 1930s New Zealand sterling silver Te Kewau Basketball pin. These were likely associated with the Te Kawau Ladies’ Basketball Association which was active in the 1930s; a basketball function by the association was held in 1936 which was covered in the Manawatu Times. Marked Stg Sil which indicates this would have been made in New Zealand or Australia during the early 20th century.
