Since the 1800s, Imari ware was incredibly popular in Britain, with several top notch  manufacturers creating their own patterns in that style. 

Royal Crown Derby's “Traditional Imari" pattern remains one of their most popular and highly collectible.

This particular style with its beautiful rich gilt details and pedestal base has a date cipher for 1974.
