A finely done Balinese portrait of an elder, oil on canvas on board, Dullah School circa 1980.

Clearly influenced by the master painter Dullah (1919-1996), who was most known for his landscapes and portraits.

His naturalistic style was used to great effect in depicting the traditional garments and people of Bali. His influence can be seen in this beautiful portrait, well executed and with moody, atmospheric hues.

Signed in lower right corner with artist name as well as the date (1980).
