A beautiful group of 4 antique French .950 Art Nouveau silver tableware, including a slotted spoon, slotted server, serving fork and condiment server, all circa early 20th century (1900s to 1910s). With assay marks for .950 silver purity and the renowned maker Olier & Caron.
Successors to the prestigious firm Henri Soufflot, Olier & Caron was one of the most prestigious French silver firms during the late 19th to early 20th century.
These pieces are beautifully made with several techniques including repousse work as well as pierced design to the spoon bowl and server blade. When displayed in the French manner, their design is accentuated with a lovely Art Nouveau engraved design.
