Rare vintage Merrythought Golliwog girl doll circa 1970s to 1980s with rare hoop earrings

A lovely vintage Merrythought Golliwog doll circa 1970s to 1980s, made by one of England’s finest toy companies and indeed in the world. Merrythought was founded in the 1930s and remains operating today, supplying luxury retailers such as Fortnum & Mason. Discontinued in 2011, their vintage Golliwog dolls remain highly sought after by collectors.

This charming girl doll is meticulously and respectfully made with a fashionable outfit and hoop earrings; we have not come across another doll with earrings like hers. We think she is a charming and very elegant doll, and we firmly believe in vintage style, not vintage values.
