Rare Luxury Designer VIntage 1960s Maskit Sterling Silver Brooch

A fabulous statement piece, this vintage 1960s Maskit sterling silver pendant/brooch is a piece of fashion history. Founded in 1954 by Ruth Dayan, Maskit gained worldwide fame as “Israel’s First Fashion House”. At its peak, Maskit was stocked in luxury department stores such as Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, as well as gracing the pages of Vogue.

With a brief hiatus in 1994, Maskit was revived in 2014 by Sharon and Nir Tel. A rare piece dating to the early years of this iconic brand, featuring hand-cast sterling silver setting and art glass cabochons.
