A beautiful late 20th century German sterling silver cedar-lined casket presented by President Richard Karl Freiherr von Weizsäcker, then German Head of State and President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Inscribed with his name and signature within, based upon research this box was presented upon a momentous occasion, which was likely his state visit to Australia in 1993 which was also the first visit made to Australia after the reunification of Germany.

Measurements: 11 by 10cm base measurements, 3cm height. 363 grams including cedar lining and weighted base.

Excellent vintage condition overall, marks crisp and legible. Minor striations, minimal imperfections.
