A cased pair of George III antique gilt sterling silver berry spoons with marks for London, 1782, William Cattel. Beautifully crested and engraved later in the 19th century with giardinetti motifs to both bowls. With antique retailer’s case by Barber & Smith which had premises at 36 Cornhill, a prestigious area in 19th century London near the Royal Exchange.

Spoons in excellent antique condition, light wear overall commensurate with age and use. Damage to top corner of box as pictured. Marks crisp and clear.
