A charming vintage Royal Doulton Tony Weller toby jug, first designed by Leslie Harradine and Harry Fenton circa 1936-1942. Tony Weller was a popular character in Charles Dickens’ The Pickwick Papers, and this is from the Charles Dickens’ Characters series. A classic and rare design, and a very well made piece.
Price marked at $140 AUD. Measurements: 8cm high. Excellent vintage condition. Light wear overall commensurate with age, no chips or cracks to note.
