Vintage Royal Crown Derby Octagonal Shaped Imari Style Pill Box / Trinket Pot

This lovely fine bone china trinket pot from Royal Crown Derby is a beautiful example of English bone china done in an Imari style pattern.

Since the 1800s, Imari ware was incredibly popular in Britain, with several top notch  manufacturers creating their own patterns in that style. 

This particular style (model no. A1297) with its beautiful gilt edges, stylised almost Fleur de lys motifs and imari style colouration is very desirable and no longer produced. Hallmarks place this pot to be produced in 1988. 

This is in excellent vintage condition. Wear to base commensurate with use and age.
