Vintage Near Antique Chinese Silk Framed Embroidery of Butterflies and Flowers

Lovely early 20th century framed Chinese embroidery on silk. Chinese textiles have been famed for years, and during the late Wing to early Republic years, such pieces were treasured souvenirs brought home by wealthy foreigners. 

This particular piece features floral and butterfly motifs, with an intricately worked floral border. This was likely made between the 1920s to 40s. Featuring seed and satin stitching techniques, this is a lovely piece that would compliment a variety of decor.

Good vintage, near antique condition. Has been professionally reframed. Fading to colours commensurate with age and light overall wear. Displays excellently.
