Here we have a vintage George V sterling silver Medal in original box from 1935.
This medal was struck to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George by the Royal. Here one can see the conjoined busts of King George V and Queen Mary on the obverse and Windsor Castle on the reverse. These were issued by the Royal Mint in red card boxes, many of which over the years have gotten damaged and lost.
The medallion shows beginning of rainbow toning commensurate with sterling silver numismatics of some age.
Price marked at $200 AUD.
Measurements: 31 mm in diameter, weight of 15.5 g.
Excellent vintage condition with minimal wear, please see photos for all details. Box shows light wear and signs of handling.
