This vintage Dinky model toy car is the Commer Breakdown Lorry Tow Truck, model number 430 / 25v and is circa 1950s.
Dinky toy cars were made in England during this period by the Meccano Company at a factory in Liverpool. While Dinky sadly no longer operates, they remain a fondly cherished memory for many. A fine toy car full of childhood nostalgia, this would appeal to any toy car collector, particularly Dinky aficionados.
