Vintage Chinese Champlevé Enamel Bowl

Lovely very old vintage (possibly early to mid 20th century) champlevé bowl at a size that is unusual considering the painstaking nature of champlevé enamel work.

Beautiful intricate colours and workmanship, with lovely geometric dragon faced designs.

A beautiful piece still in very good vintage condition*. Some fade to glaze commensurate with age.

*There are miniscule flaws throughout which are intrinsic to the manufacturing process of vitreous enamelling, an integral part of champlevé work, and should not be considered as defects; these are visible only under bright light and close inspection and do not impact overall display or use.
