Vintage Asian Ceramic Elephant

Vintage Asian, possibly Thai, Porcelain Elephant with gilt trim and beautiful colourful hand glazed motifs. Unusual pose and well depicted expression with uplifted trunk. 

No major flaws, a charming piece for display in the home. Some slight wear to glaze, as well as gilt trim such as on toes. Some wear to the base. All commensurate with age. 

Width of approximately 19 cm, height from base to tip of trunk just under 21 cm.
