Beautiful set of two Romanian 50 Bani coin spoons circa 1884 and 1885, during the reign of Carol I of Romania. Romania gained its independence during his reign in 1877 from the Ottoman Empire; he ruled as Prince (Domnitor) from 1866 to 1881 and as King from 1881 to 1914.
The Bani coin composition is of .835 silver; the spoon handle the same.
Price marked at $100 AUD the pair.
Measurements: 15.8 grams total weight (for both). 10.6cm length.
Excellent antique condition, light wear overall commensurate with age. Marks rubbed.
