This fantastic Tudric pewter clock by Liberty & Co. is a rare and stunning piece. "Made in England Tudric Pewter 01479 Made by Liberty & Co.” is stamped to the base; a slightly earlier pattern number was estimated to be circa 1910 by other reputable dealers; we believe ours to be similarly circa 1900s to 1920s at the latest.
Liberty and Co.’s Tudric Range is well known for its hallmarks of excellent craftsmanship, boasting a higher silver content than other early English pewter. The clock’s elegant simplicity means that it suits a variety of decor, with its planished overall texture evoking the Arts and Crafts period which made Liberty a household name.
In very good running condition, and keeps good time.
