“The Foaming Quart” by Royal Doulton, Vintage Bone China Figurine

“The Foaming Quart” by Royal Doulton pays homage to one of the most beloved beverages in the world. Here we have a man in medieval costume from the days of Olde Englande, when beer was safer than water to drink. Modelied after an early stage photo of Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree, an English actor and theatre manager, this charming figurine was designed by Peggy Davies. One of Doulton’s classics, this was issued between 1954 to 1992.
