Beautiful antique Czechoslovakian .900 silver powder compact circa 1942-1949, from what was then known as the Bohemia/Moravia region. Lovely engine-turned details with hallmarks for .900 silver as well as the maker’s mark J.C.H. An exceptional piece with lovely starburst details within the pattern, meticulously made. A rare and beautiful piece in excellent condition considering WWII and post-war conditions in the region.
