Rare sterling silver figural Peter Pan door knocker, with marks for Birmingham, 1925

Beautiful near antique sterling silver figural Peter Pan door knocker, with marks for Birmingham, 1925. We believe the sponsor marks to be EG, possibly FG; the first mark has been double stamped and the letters are in separate cartouches but we would appreciate anyone who might be able to shed further light on this maker.

This particular design is extremely rare as even the brass versions are highly collectible; this is the only example we have come across in silver.

Excellent vintage near antique condition, light wear overall commensurate with age.
