In 1971, Mauritius issued a proof set of 9 coins to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their independence, which included a gold 200 rupees, silver proof 'dodo' 10 rupees, cupro-nickel 1 rupee, half, & quarter, 10 cents, bronze 5,2 & 1 cent. Only 750 of these sets exist, making this highly desirable for nusmismatic and bullion collectors.
These coins are untouched and remain in their original packaging, ideal to be sent for professional graded. They exhibit light toning overall, and are ungraded.
