Fine early 19th century Derby Kakiemon style shell plate circa 1820-1825 with gilt details. A rare and desirable piece of early Derby porcelain in unusual style and pattern, beautifully handpainted with Oriental style florals and patterns. 

Comparable pieces online, which are very few in number, were at the time of posting 700 pounds or $1400 AUD.

Measurements: 23 by 24 base measurements, 5cm height.

Excellent antique condition overall. Minor gilt loss and wear to base as pictured, including minor flaws flaws, commensurate with age and early Derby porcelain.
