Post Modern 1980s 'Naoko' Teapot by Carsten Jörgensen for Bodum

This beautiful post modern 1980s teapot was designed by Carsten Jörgensen for Bodum. Its model name is Naoko but it was also colloquially known as the genie or Aladdin lamp for its silhouette. Bodum’s sleek futuristic designs proved a hit with many, including the set designers of Star Trek: The Next Generation, in particular Captain Picard’s favourite mug.
