A charming Boer War silver Shilling token circa 1900. Unusually, this shilling has been made into a patriotic medal fob with a photo of Lord Baden-Powell, a hero of the Boer War, set within. Rising to prominence for his role in lifting the Siege of Making, he and his sister would go on to found both the Boys’ and Girls’ Scout Movement. The shilling itself is of .925 silver.
