This pair of 1930s Art Deco skiers feature a white craquele glaze ceramic finish and is designed and signed by Emaux De Louviere.
Little information could be found about this factory, but their figural Art Deco pieces are highly desirable- their animal figurines sell for upwards of $2000AUD. These are the only paired figural pieces we have seen from this factory.

Condition: One (pictured on the left in the group photo) has a small chip to the base. The other has a small firing flaw on the base near his feet, which is not uncommon with craquele glaze. Asides from the above mentioned flaws, these are in very good vintage condition with slight wear commensurate with age, and wear to base as pictured.
