Lovely pair of 2 early Victorian sterling silver spoons, with marks for John Menzies, 1839 and 1840 respectively, Glasgow. Glasgow is a relatively rare mark to find, and this makes this set a collectible example of antique Scottish provincial silver.  Monogrammed MJ to the handles of both spoons in elegant cursive. 

Price marked at $150 AUD for the pair. 

Measurements: 14cm length, 32.9 grams total. 

Good antique condition. Some superficial dents and wear as pictured, hallmarks quite crisp and overall legible.
