Lovely Rare 19th c. Meissen Pin Dish

Here we have an absolutely lovely late 19 century Meissen pin dish. Meissen is one of the great names in European porcelain and this pin dish proves it is for an excellent reason.

With the superb quality that Meissen is known for; skilfully hand-painted, the central bird motif with surrounding insect motifs is a fantastic example of Victorian naturalism at its finest.
