A very elegant late Victorian sterling silver Albert chain with associated dog clip and later shield fob.

The T-bar (and chain) is marked for Edwin Page, a Birmingham chain manufacturer that was active from 1882 to 1898. The dog clip is marked for William Walter Cashmore, 1913. Cashmore was a Birmingham manufacturer that was active from 1889 to 1938.

The shield fob is marked for Birmingham, 1935, William Adams Ltd. The firm was located on Barr St, Birmingham and was active from 1900 to 1978.

Of excellent quality, each component and individual chain link is marked with the lion passant denoting English sterling silver.


Price marked at $750 AUD.

Measurements: 42 grams total weight including chain. 36 cm chain length.

Excellent antique and vintage condition.
