A beautiful pair of octagonal Japanese late Meiji to Taisho Period Satsuma cabochons circa late 19th to early 20th century. Beautiful handpainted details including gilt details as well as elegant hand-painted floral motifs. This would be beautiful displayed as-is or used to make jewellery.
