Here we have a lovely antique set of 6 French .950 silver teaspoons with marks for Louis Ravinet and Charles d’Enfert circa 1891 to 1912 and the Minerva mark for .950 silver fineness.

Located on 83 rue du Temple, Paris, the duo’s partnership between 1891 to 1912 founded the company Ravinet d’Enfert which continued operating until 1894. The firm participated on a regular basis in exhibitions and received gold medals at the Lyon Universal Exhibition in 1894 and Brussels in 1897. They specialised in fine silverware, particularly forks and spoons; these particular ones are a fine example of their work with lovely engraved motifs to both sides.

Price marked for $750 AUD for the set.

Measurements: 14cm length, total weight 140.6 grams.

Excellent antique condition, maker’s marks crisp and well-struck.
