One of the finest Anglo-Indian silver boxes we have come across recently, with the craftsmanship being of significant quality. Circa late 19th century to early 20th century.
Every detail on this box is handcrafted, with beautiful intricately depicted village and elephant motifs to the top and encircling the box. Even the base is fully hand-hammered as can be seen in photos, with the textural finish to it being absolutely outstanding.
