“Bond, James Bond”. Sean Connery calmly delivers this iconic line as he lights up his cigarette. As seen in the opening montage of Dr. No (1962), this iconic and rare Rollagas lighter is similar to the (custom) Dunhill lighter used in this earliest of Bond movies.
First launched in 1956, the Rollagas was the world’s first luxury lighter. This particular version was discontinued, and current versions retail on the Dunhill website at $870USD.
This is the gold-plated version with a diamond / barley finish, with marks that indicate this was made from 1956-1960. This would make an amazing gift for smokers, James Bond aficionados and those with classic sartorial taste.
