A beautiful George V sterling silver muffineer with marks for Sheffield, 1927, Atkin Brothers.
Well-made with thick gauge and engineered grooves so that the muffineer lid sits securely, as well as pierced design to top. An elegant piece made by the Atkin Brothers when they were at the Truro Works, Matilda Street, Sheffield. The firm was active from 1853 to 1958, when they were taken over by C J Vander Ltd.

Excellent antique condition with minor wear overall commensurate with age. Marks crisp and well-struck.
