A lovely and collectible French opalescent glass bowl with triple cherry motif, with exceptional opalescent colour play throughout the entire bowl. Signed by G Vallon whose name is impressed on the outer top rim, this bowl is a wonderful example of Art Deco glassware. Made during the heyday of French art deco design, most likely between the 1920s to 30s period, this bowl is both decorative and functional. G Vallon pieces are rare due to the factories producing his pieces being sadly destroyed during WWII. This particular piece is even more so due to the particular combination of the cherry motif in opalescent glass.
At approximately 24 cm in diameter, it would make a charming fruit bowl or a lovely centrepiece in the home. In excellent near antique condition.
